Hello friends, I hope you are all doing well.
Sorry I haven't been around for a while. Staying on top
of things has been a bit of a challenge for me lately.
My life is running away from and I don't have the inclination
to catch up to it right now.
I've resolved myself to just let it go in hopes we bump
into each other before summer vacation.
So until then I'm sure my blog post will continue
to suffer.

Hello beautiful people, hope everyone had an awesome weekend!!
The weather in the city has taken a nose dive and all I want to do
is cuddle up under my 'mama blanket'. The eldest musketeer had
a birthday party to attend yesterday so we got out for a bit but other
than that we all just pretty much huddled around each other while
watching the NHL playoff games.
Today I'm going downtown to get some supplies after mid-day
school drop-off. The grumpy prince is around so it
should be fun.
I did manage to get my sleep back on track. I passed out
around 10 p.m. Friday night and didn't recover until 9:30 Saturday
morning. Sleep and I are on speaking terms again.
We watched Mission Impossible this weekend. I thought
it was a really good movie, lots of new action surprises
and it was pretty interesting.
Well, off to spend an hour with my hair, which is funny
because I'm just going to stick my hat on anyways.
Oh the joys of being a chic.
I love that light bulb vase above it's so cool and so pretty!!

New - Modern Beaded Bracelets
Hello all, hope you had a great weekend. We had a very peaceful one. The grumpy
prince and I like to just let the weekend days unfold without making too many plans. Our weekdays
are busy enough, so we really try to put the relax into relaxing.
Friday night the GP and I watched the movie 'Anonymous'. As a lover of Shakespeare
I was super psyched to see this movie.
Well, what a colossal failure and so full of bollocks!! Frankly, I don't want to waste another
second of my life thinking/talking/blogging about it..MASSIVE YUCK!!!
Above are a new line of bracelets for spring/summer that I added to the shop this

At dinner last night, some ketchup in my plate looked like a little heart. I took
some pics but in the end it looked like puke on a plate. So I decided to save you from it.

Confession time once again. I have a slight, ok maybe huge addiction to scarfs.
I can't seem to stop buying them. Santa was very generous and bought me one
from the North Pole (Banana Republic) and still I need more...
Any hoot, one of my favourite Etsy shops artlab is having a
SALE. I jumped on the opportunity to buy this scarf
that I ♥'d and have been oogling for some time now.
I love this scarf, I can't stop wearing it!! It's the 1st thing
to go on in the morning (after I shower) and the last thing
to come off at night. Did I mention how soft it is? Did I
mention I'm also a sucker for the word Nomad!!

Sneak Peak For The Week
I hope you've all been well my friends. I was paid a visit last week by a narly head cold
who decided to stay awhile and make my days and nights miserable. When she finally left I was
able to spend a little time strangely enough updating my
Pinterest account and making a few
new items for the shop.
I love the simple sexiness of this necklace. It took me a while to find the right combination
of charms, but I'm really happy with this end result. It's the new "troika charm necklace" and
I love it!! Should be in the shop tomorrow with fingers crossed.
Last night was spent with Edward Cullen; Twilight Saga - New Moon was on telly; oh Edward♥
There was also a kick a** episode of "the good wife" love that show!!

friday finds in Etsyland - Hats!!

I've always had a thing for hats, but never owned any. I remember once taking a family
trip to visit relatives in New York and we went shopping. I saw a bucket hat
(didn't know it was called that at the time) that looked similar to the one worn in The Smiths
video for 'how soon is now'. Tried it on and couldn't really get a yay or nay from my
mum so I didn't buy it. Later when we were a million miles away from the shop,
she said it looked "great". Thanks a lot Mom!! - lol!
Lately, I've been thinking about hats alot. With 3 musketeers I can't
always get to the flat iron and I've discovered how much faster I can get out the door
with a hat. I recently bought a fun one for such days.
So now I consider myself to be a 'hat girl' and where better to look for future hats
than etsyland!!
It's Remembrance Day in Canada today. A day to honour and thank all
of our soldiers. It used to be a day off from school but it was thought that the kids
weren't getting the meaning of the holiday at home. We stop for a moment of silence
at 11am. When I'm out around that time I'm always disappointed to see that many people
don't stop to pay respect, it's very sad to me.
