In the shop - quartz and chain

Hi everyone hope your week went well. I've been busy adding new items to the shop.
So if you are in the neighbourhood you should stop in and say 'hi'.

The 3 items above were added to the shop this week:
a super cool pink cracked quartz necklace (a little edgy romance)
brass & gold plated chain earrings (love, love, love!)
quartz & brass chain earrings (so chic)

Last weekend was spent with the movie Drive and the Super Bowl (yay Giants!!).
This weekend I will be in Forks for Edward and Bella's wedding
(Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part I). It will be available on
pay per view tonight at midnight, so I'll be there front and center with my
box of kleenex.

New Arrival - 'rock crystal flowers'

The 'rock crystal flower' set offers a rocking bohemian edge with a hint of romantic charm. The brass flower caps are a beautiful golden colour that plays off the shiny transparency of the rock crystal to create a really dreamy vibe. Well, if you've been in the shop lately you'll see quite a few changes. Over the last few weeks I've been searching for the right look in photography (still a work in progress) to create the edgy yet laid back vibe of some of my jewellery pieces. Trying to express or create the mood of the girl/woman who is a dark romantic at heart with a laid back bohemian sense of style has been an interesting challenge; but I think I'm closing in on her.

New Arrivals - Rock Hard Collection!!

I added some items from the 'Rock Hard Collection" to my shop. I love the design of this single earring and necklace. They are not necessarily a 'set' but both pieces can be worn together.

A single earring of small rose quartz stones hangs from an oxidized sterling silver ear wire. I achieved a beautiful dark patina on this ear wire that blends seamlessly with the gunmetal chain.

The necklace is a combination of rose quartz and crystal quartz gemstones set on a chunky gunmetal chain, with small sterling silver bead details. This necklace is really cool and I love the way the stones hang off the chain for a truly edgy vibe.

I named these two pieces 'feathers' because oddly enough they look like feathers when they hang down. Lately I've been seeing feathers everywhere! Look there goes another one, lol.

smoke. vintage bead & metal sterling silver earrings

vintage french steel cut beads and vintage czech glass beads collide together to create these effortless, unique and edgy dangle earrings. i love the deep midnight blue colour of these vintage glass beads, really stunning!

i oxidized the sterling silver ear wire and hammered them slightly to enhance these gorgeous vintage materials and to add an overall edgy quality to these earrings.

this two toned vintage brass and gunmetal necklace is super cool, you can sport this necklace in 3 styles!
