Crushing on - Vintage

Shopping vintage is not only eco-friendly but the possibility of finding something totally cool and unique to update your closet or home can be an enormous thrill. With everyone 'crushin' on vintage in Etsyland, I thought I'd showcase my favourite vintage crush.  My Etsy friend and owner behind three Etsy shops is not only an artist but she's got a wicked eye for vintage finds. Vintage eye (one of her shop names and what I call her) has a talent for scooping up some really awesome vintage treasures.

Sneak Peek!

Here is a sneak peek at a necklace that I've been working on for the shop.  It's a cluster drop of vintage brass onyx flowers on gunmetal and twirly gold plated bar chain.  I really enjoy 'hooking up' vintage and modern materials to create this rocking bohemian edgy necklace.

vintage french steel cut beads and vintage czech glass beads collide together to create these effortless, unique and edgy dangle earrings.  i love the deep midnight blue colour of these vintage glass beads, really stunning!

i oxidized the sterling silver ear wire and hammered them slightly to enhance these gorgeous vintage materials and to add an overall edgy quality to these earrings.
