Etsy shop Sabine and Sailor offers gorgeous kimono robes made 

with a blend of luxurious silk + cotton.  

I think kimonos are so versatile these days.

You can lounge around in one all day; wear one with a white tee + 

jean shorts; or wear one over a simple evening dress...

the possibilities are endless.

A few weeks ago I wandered into Kameron Walsh's Etsy shop Kameron Elisabeth Fine 

Art Photography + was immediately swept away by the dreamy melody 

of some of her work. Her soft hazy lens pulls me into 

a world of delicate moments that's so quiet + beautiful.

Etsy Finds - Mrs. Pomeranz Summer Dresses

I wandered into Mrs. Pomeranz shop the other day + immediately fell for 

these modern skirts + dresses with a vintage 50's vibe. 

Etsy Finds - The Good Machinery

While wandering through Etsy this weekend I saw these cute

 animal figurines in the window of The Good Machinery + just had to stop in.

I ♥ the poetic use of colour that animates these animals, 

giving each one a magical existence. 

Etsy Finds - Art et Manufacture

I'm such a sucker for blue + white pottery.  So when I wandered into Art et Manufacture

the other day I went weak in the knees.  I absolutely ♥ her modern take on blue + white.

+  I'm smitten with the way the prints fade in + out, 

offering a cool vintage vibe...gorgeous!!!

Every year I pick up a new Christmas song. This holiday season

the winning song is " The Christmas Song" by Mel Torme; remixed by Michael

Kessler. I heard it the other day while immersed in the shopping experience 

of Anthropologie...(I picked up a really cool wallet, will share in another post). 

I heard this song along with some other really cool Christmas songs while I was there.

Days after I still couldn't get it out of my head so I did a search and it

took me less than an hour to find it here.

friday finds in Etsyland - ceramics!!!

I love ceramics... when I worked at Harbourfront Centre (a non-profit arts organization)

 we had craft studios where art grads could maintain 

their skills while pursuing a professional career. The studios included hot-glass, metal/jewellery

ceramics and textiles.  They could also sell their beautiful creations at the on site shop 

Bounty (now called the centre shop).

I would spend a lot of time at The Centre Shop shopping and taking in all those 

gorgeous handmade products. The grumpy prince and I were very fortunate to 

get a lot of wonderful handmade ceramic wedding gifts.   

Above are some cool ceramics I stumbled upon during my wander through

Etsyland!!

1. What a super cool shape on this bud vase.

2. Love the glaze on this footed serving dish.

3. The modern twist on the mouth of the vase is really cool.

4. Love this berry bowl..gorgeous.

5. How cool is this salt cellar...love the colour.

I've really been crushing on the dreamy romantic fine art photography of Ronya Galka on Etsy.
This London, England based photographer captures urban images and adds a blue hue to some
of them that's just dreamy. There are also some black & white photographs that are just fantastic!

Here are some treasures I found during my walk through etsyland this week....

Last night I was up until the wee hours going through some of the treasuries for the challenge and what an experience.  I'm having such a blast.  I love the creativity that goes behind the curating of a treasury.  There is just something so magical about a treasury that has the right balance and mood.  It's almost like reading a short story or a poem.

The grumpy prince has been hanging out with me as I'm going through the treasuries.

Confession time, when he's around and I'm stuck with a treasury he's awesome at offering suggestions. He has such an eye for this, granted he did work at an art gallery for many years.   I think this win has him tickled pink, I think he's starting to love them as much as I do..ok maybe love is a little strong..lol

On my way to the loo last night I discovered that my eldest musketeer (he's 9) has been reading in bed late at night.  How late you ask, try 3:45 a.m.  I nearly lost my mind, I mean it's awesome he's an avid reader but no wonder he's been dragging his bum out of bed late almost ever morning this week.  I mean I can get lost in a book but that's a bit much!!

I returned to bed after quietly yelling at him..lol and discovered that sleep had left the room.  She just up and walked out... some nerve.  So then I walked out into the living room and went into my shop which was very quiet, I did have a shop ♥ which is always nice.  I went back to bed at about 6:30 and there was sleep waiting to take me under and I went to her with open arms.   So today, I'm a little dazed  and I can't seem to focus on anything for too long and look at how chatty I am....uhm

It's our Thanksgiving long weekend and I can't wait to just hang out with family and maybe some friends.  I'm not much of a cook usually the grumpy prince takes on the stress of holiday dinners, but I can run a mean vacuum and fluff a pillow like no one else...lol
