tune in thursday - Alex Clare / Too Close

This song has been following me for about a month now, so
I finally got to the bottom of it.  It's used for the new Internet
Explorer ad on tv. To me it sounded a bit like Trent Reznor (NIN),
but a gentler, more softer Trent so I had to find out.

I must confess, I've never heard of Alex Clare but I think
this song is pretty cool.  The video not so much.

If you're in the neighbourhood of Etsy today you should stop by
the shop.  I spent the greater part of yesterday displaying some
new items. So stop by and take a look, I know you'll LOVE
what you see!

Have a talented Thursday :)

Tune in Thursdays - Adele!!!

Love, love, love this song and her. She seems like such a sincere person and what a voice.
She writes and sings with such passion and honesty that it's intoxicating!!

New In the Shop

I added THE THREE FEATHERS necklace to the shop yesterday.  It's made with Italian lambskin
leather in metallic gold and silver.  A colour combination that's perfect for the holiday season.  The name
of this necklace comes from a fairy tale from who else but the Grimm brothers!!

Yesterday was such a beautiful day in the city.  I escaped the tower and dragged two of the musketeers
downtown to Queen Street to pick up some supplies. So there will be more new items added over
the next little while - stay tuned!!

Hope your week has been great so far.
Have a therapeutic Thursday!!

Tune in Thursday - Norah Jones

My girl musketeer and I have been singing this song for a while now and we both think the video is super cool!

So today is my little ones Bday and we had plans for the beach, but because it rained all day and evening yesterday I think we'll wait for the sand to dry out and warm up.  As I mentioned before bday's have been reduced to immediate family only.  Long story short, the last major bday party was for my daughter and we went out all day then came home to make her fave requested meal while everyone hung out.

By the time dinner was served the grumpy prince and I were exhausted, everyone was starving and silly me had a glass of wine (not a major drinker, so it went straight to my head on an empty stomach).  I couldn't stop laughing and instead of singing happy birthday I sang a Smiths song (which is what I do when I'm tipsy) with my head on the table. I swear I think I made a pass at my father in law, who kept saying "but she only had one glass of wine"!

Hope you have a terrific two's Thursday.
